Council application booked for 10:15 Thursday 14 Feb 2008

2:00pm - Have requested Ron Dixon (021 708 717) to call customer

14/02/08   Application lodged. No problems at this stage.
21/02/08   Jeremy Kirwyn (Fencing Inspector) called for clarification of a few details. No further action required at this stage.
26/02/08   PIM arrived in mail. No special conditions, except noted that area is in Flood Zone. Need to consider this when striking pool heights. Ron Dixon has advised he is seeing them next Saturday 1st March and will take PIM with him to discuss pool levels.
10/03/08   Notification from Council that Approvals have been issued. $1,911.25 balance to pay. Notified Karen. Siter meeting pre start arranged for Wednesday 12/03/08 at 4:00 pm. Mike Coghlan, Baz Knudsen to attend with Larry Ogden. Ron Dixon involved in landscaping so invited to attend. Was not required.
20/03/08   Excavation planned for later this week, but put off as Easter Weekend due, and not wanting to leave unfenced excavation for four days.
27/03/08

Excavation commenced. Unable to obtain access through park at rear, decision to use smaller machines to access site down side of house and bring trucks up driveway. This will take longer time.

Crew Reuben Coghlan has to fulfill other committements on Friday, but we expect him back on site on Monday 31st March, and stay until the concrete is poured. Issue with trucks cracking driveway. Baz will inspect, We do not expect the truckies to have insurance against this, but will see if we can divert any excess pool concrete into fixing the problem.

Larry will look at damage on Monday/Tuesday next week, and has advised Karen to hold off on paying the truck hire until then.

Temporary fencing has been ordered, as asked by Karen and although not noted on S&P Agreement, Karen asked Larry about this again earler in the week, so Larry had Myles order the fences. Larry to confirm with Karen if fences are needed..

01/04/08   Pool Kit delivered and 1st Progress Payment collected. Reuben Coghlan is the pool installer. Weather has been quite wet, but expect to concrete in five days time. Pool Build supervision handed over to Baz (021) 759 521.
03/04/08   Went to look at concrete cracks in drive. Will discuss with BAz if we can do anything. No one home. Left card in front door.
15/04/08   Concrete pumped. Pool filtration to be fitted and trench for site dewatering to be dug. Pool measureed for liner. Liner ordered from Abgal.
22/04/08   Visited site. Not impressed with concrete left on site, so have asked that Clarke remove from lawn and tidy site. Not impressed with generally untidy site. Will speak to Reuben.
24/04/08   Rueben relieved of pool build due to unreliable attendances, making job take longer than expected. (Wet weather caused some delays) Balance of contract given to Julian Ogden to finish (021) 208 6703. Discussed need for dewatering trench with Julian due to pool level being lower than originally anticipated. Discussed hire of Ditch Witch with Julian. He did not think it suitable due to close nature of access down side of house. I decided to send Clark (our delivery driver) to hand excavate the trench as he had some free days available. Quite a project to dig the trench by hand, but it is needed so must be done. Expect trench to take 5 days to dig.
06/05/08   DHL Advises Tracey Liner has arrived. Crew will be notified to install ASAP
08/05/08   Liner misfit in deep end, needs adjusting for excess material in deep point. Aquatech will do this tomorrow.
10/05/08   Visited site 12:30pm. No one home. Noticed Council document file left out, wet. took away to dry out. Noted to Baz to advise Julian this is not acceptable. Hopefully they will dry out OK Liner should be fitted and pool filled by Friday 16th.
16/05/08   Liner fitted and pool filled. Filtration started.
